Our 12V Outdoor Low Voltage Landscape Step Lights are Easy to Install
1️⃣ Determine the location of the transformer installation by placing it close to an electrical outlet and away from any vegetation that may block the photoelectric timer.
2️⃣ Determine the location of the fixture, plan the wiring, dig a shallow 3-inch trench, place the cable into the trench without burying it, and connect the wires to the transformer.
3️⃣ Place the light fixture in the planned location at the proper distance.
4️⃣ Connecting the fixture leads to the main cable with two connectors. Make sure the cable is kept from the power supply first.
5️⃣ Repeat steps 3 and 4 for all other fixtures, plug the transformer into the socket and bury all exposed wires after all the lights are working correctly.
Note: Fixture(s) should be used "ONLY" with low voltage landscape power units that do not exceed 25A, 15V.

Connected the light to a new Hampton Bay landscape transformer (12VAC). When I plugged in the transformer, the light flashed on briefly, made a pop noise, and then a burning smell. Light is now dead. Hopefully it's a rare lemon and the replacement will work.The physical quality of the light is nice and durable, so I do hope it works.
Great design at a great price. Actually brighter than I expected. I am using it to light rocks in the bottom of a waterfall fountain. It is perfect for hardscape lighting, although for me, I wish it was to quite so bright, which is surprising since it's only 4 watts. Warm color temp is also very nice.
Provides plenty of warm light that matches my other low voltage led fixtures. I removed the included mounting plate, painted the housing white, and attached to the underside of the top rail of my fence. It's not noticeable during the day.
Bright enough to give adequate light but not blinding or annoying. Backing plate can be cut or removed and screw holes on actual light assembly can be used to screw to the underside of the rail of a wooden deck too.
I cut the bracket in 1/2 to allow mounting under the pool cage chair rails for safety lighting around the pool. Very happy with results.
